Free information evening
Tuesday 22 January
5pm - 6.30pm
Cullimore Dutton Solicitors, 20 Whitefriars, Chester.
Refreshments will be provided.
Nick Hodson Management Consultant and Judith Kenyon, owner of JayKay Events and the JK Business Club, are launching a new peer group for professionals in Chester.
The monthly meetings of the Peer Business Group will create a closed group of up to ten like-minded professionals who will share and troubleshoot issues they are facing in today’s business world.
Peer groups are nothing new and in fact have been around for many years, and are a proven way of helping business leaders problem solve, without the need for a board of directors.
Nick will be facilitating the meetings and is an experienced management consultant with many years of running his own company. There’s not much that Nick hasn’t had to deal with in the last 25 years.
Judith is an experienced organiser and professional networker who runs her own event management business.
Combining Judith’s and Nick’s experience means that the members of the Peer Business Group can rest assured that they are in safe hands, with full confidence in the discretion and integrity of the group.
To become a member, you have to fill in a detailed questionnaire to ensure that the group is suitable for you and that you meet the criteria. It will also help Nick to make sure that the topics covered are relevant.
The criteria to be a member includes:
- A business owner/senior executive/decision maker
- Business with turnover of £3m
- Trading for at least 18 months
- No other member is in the same business sector as you
- You are prepared to sign a NDA
- You sign up for a minimum of 6 months
The meetings will take place on the last Wednesday of the month from 12.00 to 14.00 at the offices of Cullimore Dutton Solicitors in Chester. Lunch will be provided.
The first three meetings are free to attend, followed by a monthly subscription of £250 payable by standing order.
If you face issues in business and are willing to engage and share your experiences with the others then this is vital for business growth.
Please note, this is NOT a networking meeting. It is 100% to support, troubleshoot and share experiences with other members of the group.
There will be other Peer Business Groups created during 2019 including groups for:
- Start ups
- Business exits
The first meeting of the Peer Business Group is at 12.00 – 14.00 on Wednesday 27 February at Cullimore Dutton with lunch included.
