Event Ideas

Business breakfast

Ideal for small groups in your own office to have business discussions to learn more about each other and improve working relationships. Usual start time is 7.30am for 8.00am with a 9.30am finish. Breakfast rolls and tea and coffee would be served at 7.30am.

Lunchtime seminar

Ideal to increase other businesses understanding of what you do. Either roundtable or lecture theatre style, depending on numbers. If hosting, arrange delivery of light finger buffet, or if attending another premises give detailed timings for catering and finish.

Ladies-only events

These can include afternoon tea, exclusive shopping events when the shop is closed to others, spa sessions.

Golfing events

Ideal for networking on the golf course. Starting up a regular monthly group at a variety of local golf clubs early morning can work well to build relationships. Doing 9 holes means you can all be back in your offices by midday.

Charity events

These can be as small or as large as you wish.  A charity pub quiz, a charity dinner, raffles, auctions… the list goes on.

Private tours/dinners

Finding an exclusive venue to entertain guests is always a winner. If you get the reputation of putting on bespoke events that no one else does, yours will always be the preferred one to attend in the event of there being another one on the same night.

Christmas events

These come thick and fast from mid-November and business people can end up being very careful about which they go to. Make yours unique and interesting by having it at an unusual venue or adding a twist to the evening.

Most venues are happy to accommodate the most elaborate of events, and if they can’t, then it’s the wrong venue!
